Dr. Stricker's Credentials
Dr. Rachel Stricker holds a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Sonoran University of Health Sciences in Tempe, Arizona. She is licensed to practice primary care medicine in the State of Oregon and has been practicing for 12 years. She previously has been the Wellness Director at Restore Functional Restoration, an integrative outpatient chronic pain institute in Phoenix, Arizona, the Medical Director at Quenby's Aethetics and Wellness Center in Lake Oswego, the Clinic Office Manager at Oregon Integrative Health in Eugene, and had a private family medicine practice in Eugene for 8 years. Dr. Stricker also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Gender and Diversity Studies from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is a certified yoga instructor, receiving her training at Authentic Yoga Teacher Training in Scottsdale, Arizona, and has been teaching yoga and offering personal training for the last 18 years. Dr. Stricker is passionate about using food as medicine, and is a certified plant-based chef and been teaching monthly cooking classes with a focus on whole foods nutrition for the last two years. She is currently working on her PhD in the Quantum Science of Health & Integrative Medicine through the University of Technology in Jaipur, India, conducting her research on "Quantum Yoga for Irritable Bowel Syndrome." She specializes in gastrointestinal issues, hormone balance, and mental emotional health.
